The highlight of the course was the hands-on part on the second day. Divided into two groups the almost 20 participants from the Middle East region were able to practice arthroscopic and open approaches on fresh frozen cadavers. Equipped with all needed instruments and devices the cadaver lab of the Al Nahda Hospital provided an excellent infrastructure to run the first cadaver course in the Middle East.

The course could provide a platform for interesting discussion and a wide knowledge-sharing, linked to the already established TMJ course in Vienna.
