COBRAC 2013: Excellence in Surgical Technique in Oral- and Maxillofacial surgery

The S.O.R.G. Latin American Pre-Conference of the COBRAC was held in Rio de Janeiro on Aug 20th, 2013. The event with more than 150 participants focusing on "Excellence in Surgical Technique in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery" was presented by an outstanding faculty including Dr. Luis Quevedo (Group President S.O.R.G. Latin America, Chile), Dr. Octavio Cintra (Course Coordinator, Brazil), Dr. Rui Fernandez (USA), Dr. Larry Wolford (USA) and Dr. Richard Burton (USA).

The pre-conference course could attract both, surgeon in their early stage of career, as well as experienced OMF surgeons who wish to continue and refine their skills.

Hence the topic of this conference was a full day of excellence in surgical technique in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery where a group of experienced and talented surgeons discussed about orthognathic segmentation, midfacial trauma, bone distraction and open surgery of the TMJ showing their skills and surgical techniques.
